The purpose of this site development effort was to present a set of content and an organizational structure for it, to encourage discussion on what would constitute a good Web site for the Association. Visitors may notice that some topics are merely outlined. Ideally, the Web site for the Association should be developed and maintained by a committee, with different people taking responsibility for editing, i.e., maintaining the content of, different sections of the site. As the site stands now, it represents an unsubmitted design proposal, to be included in the author's portfolio, and shared with interested neighbors. The site was recently upgraded to HTML 4.0 Strict to be standards-compliant, and some outdated information was removed.

The author makes no assertion as to the accuracy or suitability of any information on this site, and reminds viewers that this site is just a demonstration site, and is in no way affiliated with any other Web site design efforts sponsored by the Board of Directors of the Evergreen Estates Homeowners Association, Inc., nor is it in any way intended to represent an official Web site controlled by the Board of Directors.

The model drawings were adapted from drawings provided by the developer through the seller to the original purchasers of homes in the development.

Last Update

This content on this site was last updated on May 2, 2004. New features include home sales information. While the site is "inactive", that is, not in official use, it can still be referred to for information by owners selling their houses and by prospective buyers.

However, the information presented about sales is what was gleaned from the State's Taxation and Assessment database and from news reports of home sales. The accuracy of any of the information is not guaranteed.
